9 Masks of Fire

9 Masks of Fire keeps things deliberately classic: five reels, three rows and 20 fixed paylines, with colourful tribal masks and playing-card royals set against a backdrop of flames. Wins are formed left to right along the lines, and the higher-value masks pay far more than the card symbols. There are no tumbling reels, no expanding grids and no bonus-buy menus - the appeal is a clean, fast, uncomplicated slot that anyone can pick up in seconds.

The key symbols are the golden mask, which acts as the wild and substitutes for other symbols to complete wins, and the flaming Fire Mask, which is the scatter that triggers the free spins. The base game is straightforward and quick, so most of the excitement is saved for the free-spins round, where the mystery mask feature can suddenly line up several paylines at once. It is a good example of a "less is more" slot - simple to follow, but still high volatility under the hood.

Landing three or more Fire Mask scatters triggers 10 free spins. During the round, mystery mask symbols can appear and reveal a single matching symbol across the reels, which - combined with the wild - can line up several paylines at once for a big hit. It is a straightforward feature, but a well-timed mystery reveal is how the game reaches its roughly 2,000x top win. The round can also be retriggered.

9 Masks of Fire is one of the simplest slots to get going with. Here is the full flow, step by step:

1. Set your bet. Use the bet controls to choose your total stake per spin, typically from a few cents upward. All 20 paylines are fixed, so you only adjust the stake, not the number of lines. Start low while you get a feel for how often the fire masks land.
2. Spin the base game. Match symbols left to right along the 20 lines, with the golden mask acting as the wild to help complete wins. Autoplay lets you set a run of spins with optional loss and win limits.
3. Trigger the free spins. Land three or more flaming Fire Mask scatters to win 10 free spins - the round where the biggest wins come from.
4. Watch the mystery masks. During free spins, mystery mask symbols can appear and all reveal the same symbol across the reels. Combined with the wild, that can fill several paylines at once for a large hit, and the round can be retriggered.
5. Aim for the big line. A well-timed mystery reveal on a high-value mask is how the game reaches its roughly 2,000x top win - the payoff for its simple design.

New to it? The free demo is a quick way to see the free-spins round before you bet for real. Even though the game looks simple, it is high volatility, so set a budget in advance and expect the value to come in bursts during the feature rather than steadily.

9 Masks of Fire has a base RTP of around 96.24%, a fair figure, with some versions differing - check the info screen. It is a high-volatility slot despite its simple look, so base spins can be quiet and the free spins carry most of the value. It suits players who want a classic, uncomplicated slot but still want the chance of a bigger hit.
